POSITION TITLE:                 REGIONAL MANAGER (Capital Region/Hudson Valley)
REPORTS TO:                        CHHUNY CEO

CHHUNY is seeking a qualified Regional Manager who will be responsible for marketing, outreach, and education efforts to increase member enrollment in an identified region. A Regional Manager will have set expectations regarding referral generation and engagement activities to assist CHHUNY in reaching enrollment goals and community awareness across the state.
LOCATION: The Regional Manager (Capital Region/Hudson Valley) is responsible for the following counties: Essex, Hamilton, Warren, Saratoga, Fulton, Montgomery, Schenectady, Saratoga, Washington, Rensselaer, Otsego, Broome, Schoharie, Albany, Greene, Delaware, Columbia, Ulster, Sullivan, Orange, Dutchess, Putnam, Rockland. This position is remote and requires travel throughout the counties listed. Travel time varies between 2 to 3 hours based on Albany location.

  • Develop regional marketing plan with CHHUNY leadership
  • Represent CHHUNY at all relevant stakeholder meetings within your identified region including but not limited to; Regional Planning Consortium (RPC) Child and Family Subcommittees, Behavioral Health Care Collaborative (BHCC) meetings, Performing Provider System (PPS) meetings, county specific meetings (SPOA/LGU), etc.
  • Drive brand-awareness through on-site, face to face interaction with referral sources
  • Increase the number of referrals being sent to CHHUNY
  • Provide community education regarding the Health Home program and the CHHUNY difference
  • Identify opportunities to collaborate with community-based organizations, providers, health systems, etc. to participate in local events
  • Provide staff education to care management agencies and other organizations as it pertains to the referral and engagement process
  • Report gaps in the CHHUNY network and any issues regarding CMA relations to CHHUNY leadership
  • Become the local presence for CHHUNY and linkage to CHHUNY leadership for the CMAs
  • Develop a deep understanding of local resources and services within the region
  • Provide market analysis information as it relates to other Health Homes or CMAs that are not part of the CHHUNY network
  • Conduct family and child satisfaction surveys in the region
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing position
  • Experience working within healthcare field is preferred
  • Demonstrate a high degree of motivation, self-direction, and time-management skills
  • Outgoing, engaging and persistent in efforts
  • Highly driven to meet or exceed goals
  • Strong communication skills
